Engineering: Offering a Helping Hand in the Climb to the Top of the Ladder

Engineering Jobs are always in demand and this demand is expected to increase in the future as for Solar Photovoltaic Installers, Wind Turbine Service Technicians, Software Developers & Engineers, Biomedical Engineers, Chemical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Environmental Engineers. Engineers will always be needed by the world and some specialized fields are growing faster than others. As the population ages, environmental policy changes, and automation takes over more and more aspects of every field including manufacturing. Therefore, the world needs people to design, develop, test, and implement new strategies for meeting these challenges. Some of the fastest growing, most in-demand jobs predicted for future are:

  1. Automation and Robotics Engineer: Robots can perform tasks faster, cheaper, more safely and repetitive tasks around the clock. In future, automation and robotics is the only field to continuetogrow. Automation and robotics engineers are responsible for creating, developing, testing, and putting automated systems into place. Mechanical and electronics engineers will find themselves welcome in this field.
  2. Alternative Energy Engineer: Alternative energy sources are becoming more mainstream and their technology is advancing day by day. Also, the cost of creating and implementing solar and wind power has gone down. This, in turn, has helped to boost demand for alternative energy engineers who work on developing new, more efficient green energy tech, as well as inspect, repair, install existing tech, assemble and install solar panels and service wind turbines.
  3. Civil Engineer: It is a very varied field with a lot of different branches, that never goes out of style and there will always be a need for people to oversee infrastructure projects. With the increase in demand for alternative energy sources, there's an equal increase in openings for civil engineers to handle the needed infrastructure for solar and wind farms, geothermal installations, feasibility studies, impact studies, cost estimates, site inspection and integration with existing infrastructure.
  4. Environmental Engineer: As per the expert’s prediction, jobs for environmental engineers will grow by 8.3 percent till 2026, while others estimate this growth as much as 12.9 percent. Environmental engineers are largely responsible for keep pace with changing environmental policies, test and operate equipment that helps to detect and correct air and water pollution, clean up contaminated sites, manage land resources, handle certain aspects of public health, and design sustainable infrastructure.
  5. Biomedical Engineer: Jobs all across the biomedical industry are going to continue to increase between 2020 and 2026. Engineering jobs are predicted to grow by a little over 7 percent, research and development by 18 percent and manufacturing around 6 percent.
  6. Systems Software Engineer: Systems software engineers design, develop, and test operating systems. Network engineers are needed to oversee planning and implementing computer networks, while data science specialists are needed to analyze data and turn it into usable information. The variety of engineering jobs available as automation and robotics, alternative energy, civil engineering, environmental engineering, the biomedical field, and software engineering are all rapidly growing in response to a changing world.

B. Tech and M. Tech Dual Degree courses provide added advantage to engineers. The extra year invested in this course is a blessing in disguise for students as they earn an additional degree and get the buffer time to figure out what they want to ahead in their lives. Extra degree is awarded in B. Tech and M. Tech Dual Degree course. There are around nine engineering colleges in Noida that provide B. Tech, M. Tech and Dual Degree to the aspirants. JIIT- Jaypee Institute of Information Technology is one of the premium institute that provide these degrees and a bright future ahead in engineering.
